When I read Karola Knicklebine’s response comment about being a slow reader instantly got my attention. I am 77 years of age. My recall is declining and my reading speed had lapsed to a crawl, 200 wpm. Faced with the three Heirloom packages plus your father’s collection and Pax Neo-Tech, I was at at an extreme disadvantage and had to do something about it.
I asked myself how fast do I want to read? It turned out the words-per-minute did not matter, the important thing is time-per-page. I am in the proving and testing phase now. I am working with 10,000 wpm and it looks good so far. I believe this method will satisfy both my declining recall and slow reading speed.
