I suspect my “Friday Night Essence” is teaching

Dear Mark,

This is not what you requested that I write and you will probably not want to publish it. I have been thinking of writing to you for quite some time now. Here is what I have to say at this time:
I really like my job.
I am happy.
I am healthy.
I am loved and I love others freely.
Women find me attractive.
I make enough money.
I am married to my fifth wife. Been with her for 17 years. I still love each of my previous wives both those still living and those who died of cancer.
I was born in 1930.
So why did I respond to your pitch?
Because your pitch accented some undeveloped parts of me that I would like to see come forth. And although vast riches, mansions, and fancy cars are not motivators for me I would use them if it helps me contribute to the world more effectively and more profoundly.
I read the first, coded manuscript with great interest and enjoyment. Thank you for writing it. I have not read much of manuscript number two and don’t much like what I’ve read so far. Manuscript number three I like better but have not gone beyond the part that says stop reading and imagine the work you would really like to do.
I wrote a note after secret meeting number one giving the gist of what I want my business to become. I suspect my “Friday Night Essence” is teaching. I have a business partner who takes care of all the details of running our business. I meet with my employees, who are all hair stylists, twice a year and conduct seminars designed to give them the tools and understanding to be happy people. I would like them all to become self-leaders like the people in your book. I have not yet come up with how to do that.
I plan to continue the secret meetings for the year and come at them with as open mind as I can. Here is a lighthearted photo of me taken be a neighbor a few years ago.
My hobby is riding fast motorcycles on both the street and the racetrack. I love to do that!
You might just file this note away and compare it with what I write to you a year from now.

Sincerely,
Locke M.
